I am based out of Buffalo, NY, but I service all of New York State and beyond.

I also love traveling! So depending on where/when, I may be willing to waive some or all travel fees to photograph your wedding.

Not every wedding is the same, but here’s roughly what the process looks like for most full-day wedding timelines:

• I’ll arrive 1-2 hours before your ceremony (or as hair/makeup is wrapping up) to set up, introduce myself to your wedding party and family, and capture a flat lay of your wedding details. During this time, I’ll also document “getting ready” moments–laughing candids, photos in robes, pinning up the dress, putting on jewelry, and bridal portraits.

• If you booked a second photographer, I’ll send them to capture the your fiancé getting ready separately.

• Some couples choose a private first look before the ceremony, while others save that moment for the aisle. If we do a first look, we’ll typically take wedding party and couple portraits right after. If not, these photos are usually done after the ceremony.

• Both photographers will document your ceremony. Immediately following, we’ll take family photos. This is usually the best time, before guests disperse during cocktail hour.

• If we didn’t capture wedding party and couple portraits earlier, we’ll take them after the ceremony.

• Your second photographer may leave a bit early to photograph reception details (like table settings, decor, and the cake) before guests arrive.

• We’ll then capture key reception moments like introductions, first dances, speeches, and cake cutting. During dinner, we’ll take a short break, then return to document an hour or two of the dance floor!

• If there’s a chance to capture a sunset, I’ll pull you away from the dance floor briefly for some golden-hour magic. It’s always worth it!

Whether your day follows this traditional timeline or something unique, we’ll work together to make sure we’re on the same page before the big day.

I describe my style as rich and colorful. I shoot a variety of posed and candid images during every session to provide clients with lots of options, all tied together with a rich and colorful vibe like you see in my portfolio.

Whether you’ve been in front of the camera before or not, I’ll help you ever step of the way with posing or prompting you as a couple to get the results you want!

My turnaround time is faster than most photographers!

For weddings, you will always receive your photos in less than 3 weeks no matter the time of year.

I’m able to do this because this is my full-time job, I’ve built an efficient workflow, and manage my time carefully.

I also provide sneak peeks within a couple days on Instagram and Facebook if you would like!

I select and edit the best images from your day (essentially anything that turns out) and deliver the edited images in an online gallery.

From here, you can download them in full-resolution JPEG for personal use on social media, sharing, and printing on your own.

Although if you are printing large, I strongly encourage ordering prints directly through my website for the best quality.

Wedding bookings start as early as 18 months in advance and often fill up 4-6 months before the start of the season.

While not every weekend gets booked, I limit the number of weddings I commit to each year to I can provide each client with the best service. The sooner you book, the better your chance of securing your date, especially the popular ones!

Wedding season in the Northeast US is May to October, with the other months being much less busy.

While every wedding varies, you can generally expect between 400-600 final edited images for a full wedding day. I never impose a strict “photo limit”, so anything that turns out ends up in the final gallery!

Yes. While I no longer include albums in my main packages due to low demand, they’re available as an à la carte add-on.

I send 1-2 sneak peeks a few days after the wedding.

Unfortunately I don’t release 30-40 sneak peeks like some photographers do, but I deliver full galleries faster than most photographers (within 3 weeks!)

Yes of course - that’s my job! I use a variety of techniques to get people to feel and look comfortable. In candid images, this usually involves prompts that engage movement and laughter. Hand and body placement, along with capturing certain angles to be most flattering are always in mind while I’m shooting as well.

If it’s in the Buffalo area, the answer is likely YES even if it’s not in my portfolio. If not, I’ve likely heard of it or seen it.

Even if I haven’t, this doesn’t mean I’ll be uncomfortable or nervous shooting somewhere new for the first time–part of my fun as a photographer is trying new things!

Hiring a second photographer brings several advantages to your big day. First, it enables simultaneous "getting ready" shots while both parties are preparing in separate locations. Second, the additional lens ensures multiple perspectives and serves as a safety net during both the ceremony and reception, guaranteeing that no crucial moments go undocumented. Lastly, the second photographer functions as a valuable assistant, offering a fresh perspective on posing and lighting—particularly useful when time is of the essence.

I have a few trusted second photographers that I have used for several years. They have been trained to maintain the same level of professionalism and skill as I do.

An engagement session is great for a few reasons. Firstly, it allows you to get to know me better and get used to how I work before the big day. Second, it’s a great way to capture you guys in a more relaxed environment that we don’t get on the wedding day. And of course–for sending out your wedding announcement or save-the-date!

I do not release unedited/raw files because it would be a half-finished product. Editing is the other 50% of how I achieve my signature aesthetic. Also, raw files are very large and not designed to be viewed without a special program.

Yes! To respect client privacy, most of my full wedding galleries are not publicly available on the Internet.

However if you contact me I would be happy to provide some approved ones to you!

I've been a tech enthusiast my whole life, and AI is no exception. However in photography, I draw a fine line with AI use.

I will use AI in small amounts for things like removing a distracting object from a background, cleaning up flyaway hairs, occasionally a sky replacement or shifting something small in the frame. This is all work that used to take hours in Photoshop, now it can be done in seconds.

Where I draw the line is fabricating a moment that didn't happen, especially on a wedding day. I won't alter anyone's appearance or identity, and I won't generate images from scratch with tools like ChatGPT. I also do not fully automate my culling and editing, so all of your photos are selected and edited with a human touch.

Only if you want to! I’ll naturally capture the key moments, details, and portraits that most couples want without needing a checklist. If you have specific requests, unique traditions, surprises, or a must-have pose or photo, feel free to send them over so nothing important is missed!

The one exception is family photos (usually right after the ceremony). A short list of the groupings and names you want is extremely helpful to keep things organized, move quickly, and get everyone to the reception on time.

My primary focus is on color, which is why most of my portfolio is shown that way.

That said, I love black and white images when they fit the moment, and I’m always happy to provide black and white versions of certain photos upon request after your gallery is delivered in color.

Yes of course! I have done a few LGBTQ+ and cultural weddings over the years, but it’s been a rare opportunity for me so I’m always looking to do more!

I don’t hesitate to bring out additional lighting if necessary–in fact this is part of the fun for me! A little bit of off-camera lighting can transform a dimly lit venue into something magical. Additionally, modern professional cameras can handle even the darkest of lighting.

That all being said, I never use flash for the ceremony unless I absolutely have to so I’m not distracting.

Galleries are available to view photos and purchase prints indefinitely! If you lose the password for your gallery, simply send me a message and I can reset the password for you. There is no additional fee for this!

I will select and edit anything that turns out and is up to my standards for quality. Since I don't limit the number of photos in the gallery, I usually provide a very broad selection of final photos.

When you first reach out, I’ll send you my base packages which we can then customize if needed to fit your day. From there, I recommend a phone consultation to get to know each other, talk over your day, figure out which of my offerings work best for you.

If you’re ready to book, I’ll send over a contract. Once it is signed with a $500 non-refundable retainer fee for weddings.

We’ll do a pre-wedding consultation closer to the date to go over the detailed schedule, then the remaining balance will be due 1 week before your wedding date.
