A graduation session includes a mix of individual portraits plus any group combinations (friends, roommates, siblings, etc.) that fit within the booked time. You’ll receive a full, curated online gallery of edited images.
I allow unlimited outfits and locations, as long as everything remains within the allotted time.
For University at Buffalo graduation shoots in May: Within a typical 1-hour time slot for one person, we will typically have time for 2 outfits, and 2-3 close locations on campus (e.g. Center for the Arts, the UB Bull statue, and Baird Point on North Campus).
It takes 10-15 minutes to travel between North and South Campus, so I recommend booking an extended session period to ensure we have enough time to capture everything.
All images are in full-resolution JPEG, edited with printing and personal usage rights already included. So you can print on your own or use them on social media!

I don’t impose a strict photo limit. The final number varies based on group size, locations, walking time, and how quickly we move. You can expect a strong variety of finished images from every session!
-
I fully curate the gallery and deliver the best finished images from the session in an online gallery available indefinitely (usually anything that turns out). Photos are professionally edited in my signature style, duplicates and test frames are removed, and you receive a clean, polished gallery ready for download.

In most cases, yes! The listed session lengths are based on experience, and I work efficiently to capture a strong variety of images in a relatively short amount of time. That said, multiple locations, outfit changes, or a more relaxed pace may require additional time. If needed, we can discuss adding coverage in advance.
-
If someone is late, time will be limited to what is left of the remaining time slot. I often schedule sessions back to back during peak season, and in most cases will not be able to accommodate extra time. Please plan to arrive early especially with large groups so we can use the full session time efficiently!
-
If additional graduates join last-minute, that may bump you into a different tier and/or require additional time. Let me know as soon as possible so we can plan appropriately.
-
For UB sessions in May, we can hit multiple close spots efficiently (ex: Center for the Arts, the UB Bull statue, and Baird Point). North-to-South campus travel typically takes 10–15 minutes, so if you would like both campuses, I recommend booking an extended session.

Bring your cap and gown, plus any stoles/cords. If you want, you can bring props like champagne/confetti/smoke bombs/bubbles, but please confirm the rules for your location and be prepared to clean up if needed.
-
Yes! As long as the session stays primarily focused on the graduate, there is no extra charge for a few family/partner photos.

In the event of bad weather there are a few things that we can do.
1) We can reschedule to my next available time slot, which is usually somewhere from a few days to 2 weeks out depending on how busy I am that time of year.
2) We can choose an indoor location in the area (some require fees), or choose a location that allows us take cover and “wait things out” if only a short downpour is predicted.
Most rain/snow in Buffalo is almost always unpredictable, so it is best to wait until 1-2 days before to make a final decision.
Note to University at Buffalo graduation shoots in May: Due to high volume during this time, rescheduling is still possible, but trickier than other types of year. My schedule also changes constantly with last minute bookings and cancellations. Most rain in the spring/summer is cold front rain, meaning it’s a downpour that blows over quickly. At UB North Campus, we can shoot inside Center for the Arts or the steps behind the building in the event of rain. -
Your gallery will be delivered fast! For graduation sessions, you’ll typically have your photos within 3-5 days, max of 1 week.
Regardless, all May sessions will be delivered by the end of May.
-
By default I do minimal retouching including minor blemishes. If you’d like additional retouching after delivery, it’s available for an additional per-image rate.
-
No. I do not release RAW/unedited files.
-
A $50 non-refundable retainer per person secures your date/time, with the remainder due on or before the session.

Galleries are available to view photos and purchase prints indefinitely! If you lose the password for your gallery, simply send me a message and I can reset the password for you. There is no additional fee for this!
