Julie and Phil - Maison Albion Wedding Photography

July 7, 2022 • Buffalo, New York

Congratulations to Julie and Phil on their wedding at the Maison Albion Mansion after having to reschedule TWICE due to COVID restrictions! The mansion provided a variety of locations for photographs, both inside with its 19th century vibe and outside with its Secret Garden and foliage. The entire day took place at the mansion, making things run smoothly for everyone.

I began the day with getting ready photos and detail shots of Julie and her bridesmaids in the bright and airy bridal suite. Phil was getting ready with his groomsmen in the basement, which had a pool table and dramatic lighting, providing a nice contrast to the bride's photos. Julie's bridesmaids left the room when she put on her dress, allowing for a special first look with just the bridesmaids in the suite. Afterwards, Julie and Phil saw each other for their own first look at the bottom of the spiral staircase.

After the first look, we took photos of the couple outside and in the backyard. As it started to get hot, we found some shade under trees in the backyard for the bridal party photos. The ceremony took place in the unique Secret Garden. After the ceremony, the party moved into cocktail hour and dinner. We also took a few more quick photos of the couple in the Secret Garden during sunset.

Thank you again to Julie and Phil for choosing me to capture their wedding day at the Avanti Mansion. Hair and makeup were provided by Beauty by Summere, the dress was from Victoria's Bridal Shoppe, flowers were by Erie Way Flowers, the cake and desserts were by Blue Eyed Baker, and the food and catering were by Zambistro.
