Emily and Jamie - Avanti Mansion Wedding Photography

Congratulations to Emily and Jamie on your Avanti Mansion wedding! I was thrilled to be asked to photograph the wedding of these old high school friends. They chose the Amore Ballroom at Avanti Mansion for their ceremony, with its beautiful dual spiral staircase providing a unique backdrop for photos.

We began the day in the bridal suite, which had a bright and airy vibe that is perfect for getting ready photos. After everyone was dressed, we took some photos in the newly renovated lobby by the “Amore” sign. Jamie arrived with his groomsmen after getting ready at his parents’ house, accompanied by my second photographer. Emily requested a “fake first look” with Jamie and his best man, where the best man pretends to be the bride. This was the first time I’ve seen this trend in person, and the reactions were hilarious!

The ceremony took place just outside the ballroom, which was very convenient for everyone. After the ceremony, we took some bridal party and family photos by the trellis outside. When it was time to work with Emily and Jamie alone, I pulled out the lights and took them out front for some dramatic wedding photos in front of the Avanti Mansion.

As it started to get dark outside, we moved straight into the reception to kick off the party. Thank you again to Emily and Jamie for allowing me to photograph your Avanti Mansion wedding!
